hivemodern.com is a fully managed ecommerce application and web-based Point Of Sale(POS) system.
Product Management
Products are built by entering attributes and photos into a standard HTML form.
Managers need not have extensive photo editing skills or software. runskip's image
management software analyzes each image and adjusts it for proper placement and display
on the site.
Product Options
Each product may have one or more options such as size and color. Hive Modern is not limited
to a small set of options, but can instead build as many option sets as they want and
associate each option set with one or more products. Products may have different bases,
wood types, colors or finishes.
Category Manager
Every Product can be listed in one or more categories that can be created with the
category manager. Since products can be listed in multiple categories, Hive Modern can
up-sell related products.
Order Manager
Each order is processed via SSL(Secure Sockets Layer) and
stored securely in the order management system. Managers can view all of the details of the
order and move the order to fullfillment.
POS
All orders including in-store sales and phone sales are handled using the back-end POS system which
includes management of invoices, purchase orders, inventory and much more.
